Who we are

Mobile Stem Care, LLC is a San Antonio, TX based company that offers mobile on-site adipose stem cell and platelet rich plasma (PRP) isolation directly from your pet for veterinary use in the Greater San Antonio area.

Our team of biomedical engineers have years of experience in the adult stem cell and regenerative medicine field and will bring an affordable regenerative therapy edge to your veterinary clinic.

We want your pet to have access to the best treatment science has to offer!

What we do

We come to you! Mobile Stem Care (MSC) is a mobile service that offers adipose stem cell and platelet rich plasma (PRP) isolation to veterinarians for treatments in dogs, cats, and other animals.
MSC is the first of its kind in the Texas region, and is built on the principles of quality, leading-edge science, and customer service for the betterment of patients.

We bring our point-of-care tissue processing system and expertise to rapidly and efficiently isolate regenerative cells from adipose tissue directly to each veterinary clinic for individualized pet treatment.

Adipose tissue (fat) are collected from your pet by your veterinary doctor and given to Mobile Stem Care to isolate stem cells on-site and in less than 90 minutes. A concentrate of your pet’s stem cells and other immune-regulatory cells are returned to the doctor for injections to perform pertinent regenerative therapies, which may include:

  • Traumatic injuries
  • Degenerative diseases (i.e., osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia)
  • Ligament/orthopedic injuries
  • Non-healing wounds

Gentle cell manipulation and fast on-site processing means less degradation and higher quality and quantity of regenerative cells. Since an MSC specialist performs the preparation procedure, no purchase of equipment is necessary, reducing costs of capital, training and labor.

MSC was envisioned to lower the cost of cellular treatment so that all patients can have access to cutting-edge stem cell therapies. With our years of experience in stem cell isolation and therapy, we strive to bring the best of what science has to offer to you and your pets.

What we sell

  • Adipose Stem Cells
  • Platelet Rich Plasma
  • Combination (Adipose/PRP)

Our process works by first harvesting adipose tissue and separating the stem cells from the fat cells. These adipose stem cells are then administered to your pet via a local injection. Adipose stem cells and platelet rich plasma can each be isolated and delivered separately or in combination. Choosing the right injection for your pet is based on their individual health needs. In addition our team will provide quality control certificates after the extraction which will include information on cell quantification, viability, and more.

Who we sell to

Mobile Stem Care is focused on providing our services to all established veterinary clinics in the greater San Antonio area.
Not all clinics have the equipment or personnel to provide stem cell therapy as a viable treatment option to their clients, even though they may want to include it in their practice.

We are here to help provide fast, effective and tailored treatment options for these clinics so that they may provide stem cell therapies to patients who have not had access to this type of care before.

FAQs

What are adipose stem cells?

Adipose stem cells are cells located in the fat tissue, also known as mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). They are adult stem cells and autologous (from the same patient). Adipose stem cells are capable of regenerating tissue due to their ability to become other cells and/or regulate inflammation, which when chronic, hinders the capability of the body to regenerate.

Why does the vet need to take fat from my pet?

In order to obtain these cells, a sample of tissue is required. Adipose tissue offers easy access and is less painful and traumatic for your furry one than other extraction processes. More importantly, the yield of stem cells from adipose tissue is much higher than those obtained in bone marrow per volume. Since the cells are from the same animal (autologous), there is no need of immune-suppressants and no rejection should be expected.

How many injections will I need?

This will be determined on a case by case basis; however the improvement should be seen in one injection. Further improvement could be attained with multiple injections depending on the degree of care your pet needs.

Are these stem cells embryonic?

No. No embryo will be used to obtain these cells. All stem cells are from your own individual pet and are not associated with embryonic or human stem cells.
